Brett and I headed over to the old Galaxy for a Thursday night post punk show with the New York Texans.
Unfortunately the band was sick & had to cancel.
The openers, Girl Band came on and did their best.
They had a Thurston Moore Guitar God, a Slide Bass Harmonic Noise Machine on Bass, a Drum Machine master, and a lead singer with a torn t-shirt and a voice like early Peter Murphy. A one trick pony that was great for 30 minutes but had trouble carrying the night.
