New Age

Once again this is one of the easier categories for me.

Madi Das is too ecclectic & World Music Light for my taste. Catherine Duc lacks any real sense of focus. Pater's record will get a lot of votes from Piano Music Lovers, but really does not go anywhere for me. Ron Korb is fantastic--but another pan flute record is likely not the answer this year.

Paul Avgerinos' Grace has a horrible cover and really bad song titles--which I think are actually strong selling points. The music also harkens back to that Winston Hills New Age sound that used to play in the Nature store at the mall--a real feel good record that gets my Grammy vote after the first chord...
