Lisa and I left the kids and had a great night at Irvine Valley College watching The Tempest.
One of the themes I got from this performance was that the play is about fathers dealing with their daughters getting married. The storm that proceeds it, the sense of control & ownership, the familial resolutions are all tied to this anxiety.
Great time--Lisa had a blast.
